Parenthood is the best and hardest thing you’ll ever do.

But you don’t have to do it alone.

Support at every stage

  • Pregnancy

I will help you throughout your pregnancy journey by answering your questions, providing you with resources, easing your fears, and helping you develop a birth plan that works for you and your family.

  • Labor

In labor, I will be your constant emotional, educational, and physical support. From holding space for you, to helping you breathe through contractions, I will serve as your resource, guide, and strength.

    Postpartum

As I help you navigate the postpartum period, I have three main goals:

    1) Protect and foster your physical and emotional recovery

    2) Support the baby’s transition to life outside the womb

    3) Take care of anything that gets in the way of the first two goals

    Infant feeding and care

I will help you get acquainted with baby and build your confidence as you learn how to care for your newborn. I assist with latch and proper feeding techniques as both a labor and postpartum doula, but I also offer this support as a stand-alone service as a certified lactation counselor.

My Services

  • As your birth doula, I will provide emotional, educational, and physical support throughout pregnancy and labor. Aside from being by your side during labor, this includes one in-person prenatal visit, one in-person postpartum visit, and 24/7 text and phone support.

  • As your postpartum doula, I will help you and your family navigate the postpartum period. Sometimes that means holding the baby and washing bottles, and sometimes that means holding you, listening, and sitting with you in your feelings. It’s an honor that I do not take lightly. All of that to say, postpartum support is completely customizable depending on you, your family, and your needs.

  • I can help you, in-person or virtually, as you and your baby get acquainted with bodyfeeding. I will listen to your struggles, successes, and stressors, and provide you with emotional support, tips, resources, and the confidence you need to reach your bodyfeeding goals. I have three different packages for lactation support:

Bodyfeeding Bootcamp: A crash course on all things bodyfeeding so that you can feel prepared when your baby arrives.

Quick Consult: One, one-hour consultation where we can go over specific issues you may be having.

Continuous Counseling: Four weeks of support including a one-hour initial consultation and three 30-minute follow-ups

  • I’m happy to offer concierge placenta encapsulation services in your home. This not only ensures the safe handling of your placenta, it also allows me to offer any insight and assistance as a postpartum doula while I’m processing the placenta. Aside from being cerified as a Postpartum Placenta Specialist, I’ve also completed training in OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens and Universal Precautions and safe food prep handling guidelines.

  • No matter where you are, I can help you navigate pregnancy, labor, and postpartum through my virtual doula services. Depending on your needs, I will help you make a birth plan, give you tips and resources, and provide emotional support.

Service Area

Aside from offering virtual support, I proudly serve as a doula and lactation counselor in the greater Tampa Bay area.

client feedback

“Having Kellie in my corner during my pregnancy, labor, delivery, and postpartum was invaluable! I truly can't imagine my pregnancy experience without her support. Her presence is comforting and she is a wealth of knowledge. As a first time mom, I had a lot of questions about pretty much everything and Kellie was quick to respond and she always made sure to provide evidence-based literature to help me work through any concerns or questions I had. I felt completely taken care of, especially during my labor, and it's clear that her main priority is making you, as a parent to-be, feel safe, seen, and settled. Parenthood is full of questions and varying emotions -- you need Kellie as your solid ground to stand on throughout this season!”

“As a first-time mom, I didn't realize how difficult postpartum and breastfeeding would be. I spent my pregnancy focusing on labor and delivery, but once that part was over I was lost! Kellie offered invaluable support and gave me a major confidence boost during our Lactation Consultation. She provided me with tips, resources, and most importantly, the emotional support I didn't know I needed♡”

— Evellin

“I am so glad I hired Kellie for lactation support because I was really struggling with all things breast feeding and was feeling defeated. Kellie gave me tips and guidance on how to breast feed my baby that didn’t hurt or make me want to cry. Her encouragement and support has helped me continue with breast feeding and I have not yet needed to supplement with formula for baby #2.

[…]I am so thankful for all that Kellie has done for me and my baby. I wish I had connected with Kellie earlier in my pregnancy! I am realizing now just how much I could have benefited from pregnancy and birth support (I didn’t know to ask until Kellie shared what a pregnancy and postpartum doula offers.) I highly recommend hiring Kellie for pregnancy and postpartum support.”
